Rosarita has a fascinating connection to gold mining, as it is created as a byproduct of the gold-mining process. This particular stone originates from Alaska, adding a unique story and sense of place to this already unusual gemstone. Natural variations in color and pattern ensure that every Rosarita stone is completely unique.
The gemstone is set in handcrafted .925 sterling silver with a serrated bezel that follows the graceful contours of the teardrop stone. A distinctive chain detail edges the setting, adding movement, texture, and a subtle Rock & Roll edge to the design.
Handmade from scratch in my Southern California studio, this statement ring combines the warm character of Alaska-sourced Orange Rosarita with handcrafted sterling silver and a distinctly vintage 60s–70s spirit. Each stone has its own natural variations, making every piece truly one of a kind.
