Hi, I’m Brigitte Bogart, the artist and designer behind BOG-ART-STUDIO.
I was born and raised in the Netherlands, where I studied fashion design at the Academy of Art & Fashion in Amsterdam. Fashion and Design have been part of my life for more than 20 years, and creativity has always been at the center of everything I do. After many years working in fashion, I took a few silversmithing classes—just out of curiosity—and completely fell in love with the craft. What started as a new creative outlet quickly became a true passion.
Today I design and handcraft every piece of jewelry myself using traditional silversmith techniques. I’m drawn to unusual materials and meaningful gemstones-- I love taking something unexpected and transforming it into a wearable piece of art.
Many of my designs are inspired by a mix of influences: Bohemian with a Rock-and-Roll attitude. No two pieces are ever the same. I let the stones and materials guide the design, which means every piece has its own personality and story.
I now live in a small beach town in Southern California with my husband and our two Great Danes. My studio is where I spend most of my time creating, experimenting, and bringing new ideas to life.
When you wear one of my pieces, you’re wearing something that was made slowly, thoughtfully, and completely by hand. Every design is one of a kind and unique.
